Detention is a side-scrolling point-and-click horror game with a mixture of ambient fear and jumpscares. You play by moving using the left mouse button to direct your character around the screen, observing and interacting with objects. Progression is done through a series of puzzles and story-focused cutscenes. Occasionally you will encounter enemies that will need to be passed, usually involving holding your breath with the right mouse button.

Tips and tricks
